We just finished up another true story last night. It was a very good read, though perhaps somewhat detailed in the beginning. It's about 28 men who try to cross the Continent of Antarctica in August 1914. The story is actually unbelievable at times. The men face intense danger, fatigue, and extreme weather. I don't want to give away the ending, but this story is truly inspirational. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under 10 simply for the amount of detail it gives that may be boring for the younger kids. (We own this book ourselves, if any of you close by want to borrow it.)
