Cranberry Cottage

(minus the pics I wanted to add, sorry!)

Pros:

Beautiful cranberry bogs to see in 3 directions

Only 1 neighbor close enough to even care about

Lots of sky (especially compared to home)

The house is light, bright, & cheery

Sunrise & sunset are very pretty

The beach/ocean is only 5 min away

Small house = less to clean

new stuff in the kitchen ;)

Less of our things are here to care for

Cranberry farmers to watch right outside our windows

We see more of each other

Cons:

The road is only 30 feet from the front door & some cars go by pretty fast

The yard is a fraction of what we're used to & that's not even taking into account the woods etc.

We don't have all our stuff & some people are missing things they left behind

One bathroom for 9 people, especially for showers & baths

White walls, curtains, towels, doors, cabinets, lamps, wall decor, table, furniture...need I say more? Nice & bright, but with little kids it's a little crazy.

New appliances, dishes, kitchen set-up etc.

(it's fun, but until we figured everything out it was hectic)

No mail. Yeah, that's right. No mail.

New town, grocery stores & roads to navigate (I miss Fred Meyer & Costco) 

 No home grown eggs!

It was harder the first 2 weeks. I think we've ironed out a few wrinkles & it's been nice, overall.

Maybe I'll figure out how to add pictures yet!! But until I do this will have to do ;)
