So I am sick! Ugh! But it's good news really =) I think Baby must be growing healthy and strong. Yay! I haven't had much puking yet, but I sure have been feeling bad some days. Thankfully it's not every day and it's not ALL day (usually) either. Thank God for that. Still I am VERY anxious to have this sick part behind me. I was 10 weeks Saturday so I have about 4 weeks till I'll be on the mend. Hopefully I'll be some better by 2 weeks and still better by 4 weeks and completely better by 6 weeks...yuck! It does sound like a l-o-n-g time to be sick still.
So in other things... Colten, went to the ranch with Grandpa (my dad), Aunts Marissa & Marita, and Cousin Felicity. He stayed at Grandpa's last night and they were on the road this morning at about 9 or so. They will be there till Friday getting firewood and hopefully having some fun. I have to admit I'm a little nervous. I think this is the first time any of my kids have gone so far away. The ranch is probably 600 miles from home. But I think it's an awesome opportunity for him.
Emily just had a wonderful opportunity too. She was invited to a very kind woman's home from our church, Linda Mattson's, and her and Cousin LaKaysha were able to go and spend two nights and two days getting pampered and learning from an older Christian woman. They wrote a poem that was a story and posed for all the pictures so they have their very own photo book starring themselves! Right now Emily has a paper copy, but it sounds like they will be getting a hardcover book from Shutterfly. She also took them shopping and gave them dresses from her own collection. Hopefully I can post some pictures sometime.
Carson may be going on a stay-away job this week. I HATE stay-aways, but he does have work and I'm glad for that. This too shall pass...that has been "my verse" these last few weeks being sick. And I guess we can always learn more patience. So, indeed, this too shall pass!
prayers! its never fun being sick!

ReplyDeleteHey! For the morning sickness... have you ever tried that Earth Mama Angel Baby, Happy Mama spray? It's supposed to be great for the nausea but of course, when I needed it when I was pg for Raina, Rosie had dumped out the entire bottle somewhere. Guess Mills has a happy sewer now! *sigh*
ReplyDeleteHi!:) Congrats on the baby, how exciting! No fun being sick though:(
